Jonathan P. Woodley

Jonathan moved to the great State of Colorado in December of 2000.  It was a big move for a 20 year old, but one that has been well worth it.  He started off working in the restaurant industry as a server/bartender and after a few years, decided to progress into management. In this time, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business. From 2008-2018, Jonathan managed downtown restaurants from small independently owned to large corporate organizations.
In 2013, at the age of 33, Jonathan joined the Colorado National Guard.  "I wanted to do more for my community, serve my Country, and live a more fulfilling life helping others." Sgt. Woodley deployed oversees in support of Operation Spartan Shield and Operation Inherent Resolve in the fight against terrorism, from 2016-2017.
After the deployment, Jonathan decided to leave the restaurant industry in pursuit of his Master's Degree.  He currently attends the University of Denver, joining the list of proud Pioneers, in the program: Global Community Engagement.
While still in the Colorado Army National Guard as a Sergeant and attending DU for his Master's in Global Community Engagement, he uses his extra time volunteering at various places (most notably History Colorado Museum)
"Giving back and helping where help is needed is something I hold dearly to my heart.  I was brought up with humble means, but I have always had the desire to be and do better.  There is no better feeling than helping others."
